During the 20th century, There were many mysteries. We have wondered about what actually brought down the Hindenburg? Who was D.B. Cooper and what ever happened to him? And, of course, why were the Muppets so popular? But there was another mystery that, at the time in 1937, the country sat on the edge of it's seats and all these years later, we still wonder about what happened to Amelia Earhart and her navigator, Fred Noonan?
Like many mysteries, maybe we will never really know the answer. Some have claims as they have found, what they believe, are traces of her airplane and other things that they believe lead to several conclusions. But these are not confirmed.
This blog is, in no way, an explanation of the events or the outcome of Earhart's and Noonan's last flight into history. It is simply a look back at one of the most haunting mysteries of the times. So, Amelia Earhart, What happened?
